Message from the Associate Dean for Curriculum
Dear Students,
This year seems to have gone by so quickly despite all the stresses and life changing events that we have all experienced. One of the greatest losses for many of us over the last few years has been the time to relax and connect with friends, family, and colleagues. I hope that all of you will take some time over the Thanksgiving break to attend to your own wellness and to renew or reinforce your connections with the ones you love and value. I hope we all can also take the time to think of, and do something for, those that are less fortunate than ourselves. There are many organizations in the greater New Haven area that provide support for the homeless, those struggling with food insecurity, or others in need. Please think about volunteering or donating if you can. Finally, with the cooler temperatures and Thanksgiving coming up, we will all be spending more time indoors and will likely be in groups with more people. Please be mindful of the continued risk of COVID spread and use masks and distancing when appropriate.
We continue to try to improve your experience with the curricular update. As such, you will notice a new format with this issue that allows you to engage with only those sections that are of interest without having to scroll through the other sections.
We hope that you find this new update format more user-friendly. Please feel free to provide feedback to me on the format or content of the update and if additional sections would be helpful.
Sincerely,
Mike Schwartz, PhD
Associate Dean for Curriculum
