Yale-Boehringer Ingelheim Biomedical Data Science Fellow
Xiayuan Huang is a postdoc in the Department of Biostatistics at Yale School of Public Health. He is interested in bioinformatics, machine learning, developing computational methods for solving challenge problems in biomedical informatics and genetics. Xiayuan received his PhD from University of Wisconsin-Madison with Dr. David Page and Dr. Scott Hebbring. During his PhD study, his research focused on family pedigree prediction, population study, genetic impacts on phenotypes, and machine learning methods for disease risk analysis using electronic health records data.
