Mike Friscia

Mike Friscia joined the Yale School of Medicine in April 2017 as the Lead Technical Architect with responsibilities for systems and software design. Starting in 2019 he shifted focus to Artificial Intelligence technologies and primarily works on AI projects and systems architecture.

Previously he worked in the Yale University Library for ten years managing a team of software engineers focused on digital asset management and discovery systems with emphasis on open source, community driven development. Prior to Yale, Mike was the lead software developer at Connecticut College where he worked primarily with student and alumni information systems.

Mike enjoys collecting and programming vintage computers from the 1970's and 1980's and is an active participant in the International Game Developer Association working as a consultant on several open source projects.
