Bosenberg Honored for Contributions to Melanoma Research
Marcus Bosenberg, MD, PhD, Anthony N. Brady Professor of Dermatology, Pathology, and Immunobiology, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Melanoma Research at its annual Congress on Oct. 27 in Amsterdam. The award is the society’s highest honor and was given in recognition of his substantial contributions to melanoma research. Bosenberg, who studies the factors that regulate anti-cancer immune responses, is co-leader of the Cancer Immunology Program of Yale Cancer Center, director of the Yale Center for Immuno-Oncology, contact principal investigator of the Yale SPORE in Skin Cancer, and director of the Center for Precision Cancer Modeling.
