Holmes Earns a Rafaelsen Young Investigators Award
Sophie E. Holmes, PhD, assistant professor of psychiatry and of neurology, has been named a recipient of the Rafaelsen Young Investigators Award from the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CINP). Holmes will have the opportunity to present research at the 35th CINP World Congress in Tokyo. She is an expert in molecular neuroimaging and was nominated for the award by John Krystal, MD, chair of the Department of Psychiatry.
Huntington Is New Chief Quality Officer for Smilow and Yale Cancer Center
Scott Huntington, MD, MPH, MSc, associate professor of medicine (hematology), has been named chief quality officer for Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center, effective January 1, 2024. Huntington is a leader in health services research and care delivery. A nationally recognized lymphoma expert, he brings deep clinical expertise and perspective to his new role.
Wang Earns Scholarship for AAN Annual Meeting
Ethan Wang, medical student, has been selected to participate in the Medical Student Experience, and given a scholarship to attend the 2024 American Academy of Neurology (AAN) annual meeting.
