We are thrilled to be hosting Dr. Pranay Sinha (Trad ’17, first GHEDP graduate, and experienced Op-Ed author) from Boston University for two very special events designed to help us use our physician voices to advocate for global health issues. The first event will be held in person and will take place on Thursday, December 5th @ 7pm! Please RSVP HERE by 5pm on Tuesday, Dec 3rd for Thursday’s workshop so we can plan for food.
- THIS WEDNESDAY! The Global Health Night Out team looks forward to convening our first event of the year, focusing on providing medical aid in Ukraine, featuring Julia Abratańska, co-founder of Renegade Relief Runners, and Melissa Hazlitt, Chief Medical Supplies Officer for Renegade Relief Runners and Yale Emergency Medicine alum, will discuss their experiences providing medical aid in Ukraine. Julia will share her work coordinating critical medical supplies during the full-scale invasion, and Melissa will speak about the state of point-of-care ultrasound in the country. Wednesday, December 4th in BCMM 206/208 (enter at 295 Congress Avenue) from 6:30-8pm; we will start with dinner at 6:30pm and the discussion will start at 7pm.
