Below is the list of past events of the Sustainable Health Initiative, including all past speakers of the Innovation Exchange series and our programmatic efforts and involvement such as the SHI Bridge Program, Design Challenge, and the CBIT Hackathon.

SHI Bridge Program The SHI Bridge Program was developed as an interim curriculum and engagement opportunity between high-potential health and healthcare startups being considered for the full Sustainable Health Initiative Accelerator program. Our alumni from the program include iDocta, UrPharm, Navi Health, AgriCORE, and ExpoKEY.
SHI Design Challenge

In this Design Challenge for Global Health, five finalists presented solutions to address complex health challenges such as elder care and isolation, sustainable agriculture, tuberculosis care and treatment, and non-communicable diseases in among urban vulnerable populations. Three awards were given out based on the innovation, health impact, and business viability of their venture:

First Prize: $5,000 THULSI (Ria Rungta, MPHc)

CBIT Hackathon SHI sponsored a prize at the 7th Annual Center for Biomedical Innovation and Technology Health Care Hackathon. The $1000 prize was awarded to Cisterna, an idea developed by a team from Brazil to address the health impact of untreated waste.
