Hecht Global Health Faculty Network Award

The Hecht Global Health Faculty Network Award is designed to promote new research and programs in global health at Yale, undertaken by Faculty Networks that do not otherwise have the resources to initiate the work. Funded activities should be critical to the initiation of new work by the applying faculty members. Activities could include, but are not limited to, fostering and/or strengthening partnerships with colleagues, collecting primary data, or developing strategies and policies for improving health and health care. Applicants are encouraged to consider how their proposal develops and tests new ideas that can be evaluated and scaled up. The awards are intended to lay the foundation for recipients’ successful pursuit of additional funding opportunities. Applicants should thus make a clear linkage to how the funded work will lead to larger external funding to support continued activities. Completed applications can be sent to Nikole Allen, Senior Program Director.
