Global Health Spark Awards

Global Health Spark Awards

YIGH is pleased to offer the Global Health Spark Award, which was created to support preliminary steps as YIGH-affiliated faculty identify, coordinate, and/or prepare for global health projects. While not required, ideally the Spark Award would help facilitate the preparation and submission of a proposal for a larger grant opportunity. Examples of activities supported by the Spark Award could include formative research, travel, coordination, or short-term staff support. Each fiscal year (July 1 – June 30), YIGH will grant two awards of up to $10,000 each. Funding is currently available for FY 2021.
