The spring concert of the Yale Medical Symphony Orchestra will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Harkness Auditorium, 333 Cedar Street, New Haven. It is remarkable to realize that this concert will mark the 10th anniversary of this wonderful institution. Under the direction of Robert T. Smith III, the orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 and Vaughan Williams’ Wasps Overture. The orchestra consists of students, staff, and faculty of the Yale School of Medicine as well as members of the medical staff at Yale New Haven Hospital. The audience has become accustomed to outstanding evenings of music coming from these talented musicians. Harkness Hall has been filled for the past few concerts.
