Dr. David Chambers is Deputy Director for Implementation Science in the Office of the Director in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). This presentation will serve as an orientation to the field of implementation science in cancer control, the challenges inherent in biomedical research that it seeks to address, and the approaches through which implementation science can optimize the impact of research-tested interventions on the health and healthcare of populations.
