Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds: "SAMHSA’s Final Rule on Methadone: Implications for Implementation, Patient Outcomes, and Future Directions"

The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome hold a special session of Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds on March 26th, 2024, 12:00-1:30pm, with invited panelists detailed below.

This event will be held virtually via Zoom and extend a half hour longer than our typical sessions.


Topic: SAMHSA’s Final Rule on Methadone: Implications for Implementation, Patient Outcomes, and Future Directions

Learning objectives:

  1. Describe key regulatory changes introduced by SAMHSA’s Final Rule on Methadone.
  2. Consider mechanisms of enforcement, monitoring, and evaluation during implementation of regulatory changes in methadone treatment settings.
  3. Discuss implications of changes in methadone regulation for treatment facilities, healthcare providers, and patients receiving methadone.

    Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
