Patricia LoRusso, DO Received Honorary Doctorate from Michigan State University

Michigan State University (MSU) hosted commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 18 at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center, where are a total of 700 advanced degree candidates received their diplomas.

The advanced degree ceremony was held at 3:30 p.m. MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine alumna Patricia LoRusso, DO, professor of medicine and associate director of innovative medicine at Yale Cancer Center, addressed graduates and received an honorary doctorate of science at the ceremony.

To receive an honorary PhD in science from Michigan State University was an incredible experience and one that I will always be grateful for.

“I was extremely honored to have the opportunity to return to my alma mater to address the graduates of the class of 2015, and to provide them with a little of my insight on the amazing and exciting things that lie ahead for them. To receive an honorary PhD in science from Michigan State University was an incredible experience and one that I will always be grateful for,” said Dr. LoRusso.
