Katelyn McNamara, BS

Kate is a research associate in vascular neurology working on projects surrounding the prevention, treatment, and outcomes of ischemic strokes. She is passionate about community health and stroke education, stroke prevention through risk factor management, and addressing disparities in stroke care. Kate is a medical student at Loyola Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and is involved in medical education and curricular development there. She hopes to continue to contribute to the field of neurology through patient care, education, and research endeavors.
