Biography

Anna graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in December 2025 with a B.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences. At WashU, Anna was involved in research labs that studied student emotions and belonging as well as early emotional development. She contributed to studies on early childhood depression, neurodevelopment of overcontrol / perfectionism, and early suicidal thoughts / behaviors. Anna conducted an honors thesis where she interviewed parents to examine how they navigate and support school belonging for their autistic adolescents. Along with research, Anna worked in an early intervention clinic for toddlers with autism and developmental delays. She also volunteered as a summer counselor to help children with selective mutism practice brave talking. In the future, she aspires to become a clinical child psychologist, specializing in autism and psychopathology.
