James P. Comer, M.D., HS '64-67, the Maurice Falk Professor in the Child Study Center and Department of Psychiatry and director of the School Development Program, was one of three recipients of the Camille O. Cosby World of Children Award in November. The award, given by the Judge Baker Children's Center in Boston, is named in honor of the wife of entertainer Bill Cosby and recognizes outstanding achievement in improving the lives of disadvantaged children. The other two recipients were children's advocate Tipper Gore and BankBoston CEO Chad Gifford.
