Caleb Gonzalez, M.D., professor of ophthalmology, was one of five pediatric ophthalmologists to receive the Honor Award from the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) at its annual meeting in April in Charleston, S.C. This award is to recognize outstanding achievement and distinguished service to the AAPOS. Dr. Gonzalez received a similar honor in 1992 from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
