Biography

I am a Research Associate in Ann Haberman's Lab investigating the cellular and molecular interactions occurring in germinal center reactions during adaptive immune responses. Specifically, my project focuses on tertiary lymphoid structures and the role of recurring interactions between germinal center B cells and T follicular helper cells in autoimmunity.

I completed a combined B.S. and M.S. degree in Biotechnology at Penn State University. As my capstone research for my master's degree, I completed a 6-month full time research co-op at Merck in the Discovery Neuroscience department where I investigated neurodegenerative pathology in Alzheimer’s Disease. As a co-op, I developed a method that allows for three-dimensional, whole brain histological analysis in mouse models that improves observation of pathology and allows for the development of novel methods for study, diagnosing, and treating neurodegenerative diseases.
