Overview
Maya Silver, MD, is a pediatric neurologist who specializes in caring for critically ill children who have injury to the brain or nervous system. She focuses on conditions such as stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, and neurologic conditions in term and pre-term infants.
Dr. Silver provides comprehensive neurologic care for her patients, supporting them both during and after hospitalization through ongoing rehabilitation and recovery.
As an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Silver's research centers on neuromonitoring, the prediction of patient outcomes, and improving recovery.
Dr. Silver received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed her residency in child neurology and fellowship in pediatric neurocritical care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
