Biography

Dr. Silver completed her medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, followed by residency in child neurology and fellowship in pediatric neurocritical care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her clinical focus is in the care of critically ill children with or at risk for brain injury (for example, stroke, status epilepticus, traumatic brain injury, neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, and other conditions). She also cares for patients in the clinic, providing ongoing neurologic care and supporting recovery after a hospital stay. Her academic and research interests include neuromonitoring, prognostication, and outcomes after cardiac arrest.
