Biography

Lillie Steinhauser (they/she) is a communications and program management professional with nearly five years of experience at Yale University. After moving from Texas for their first role at Yale, Lillie has worn several hats at the Yale School of the Environment, including managing an environmental law and policy research center and supporting a policy analysis student learning community. Their work has focused on building strong programs, supporting people, and executing high-level events for collaborative teams around the world.

Lillie brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to their work, and as a self-described generalist, they draw on a wide range of interests and experiences to provide creative support and solutions for diverse teams.

Born and raised in small-town Texas, Lillie loves warm weather, outdoor activities, and staying connected to community. Coming from a large family has shaped their love of hosting weekly dinner parties, trading recipes, and sharing stories. Their interests include sustainability, psychology, equity, community, art, and mindfulness.
