Kassem Farhat

I am currently enrolled in internal medicine training at the Yale-Waterbury residency program. Prior to this, I completed a research fellowship in Dr. Stavros Stavrakis's lab at the Heart Rhythm Institute, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. My research mainly focused on autonomic modulation as a therapeutic approach for atrial fibrillation and heart failure in animal and clinical settings. This experience significantly deepened my interest in cardiology, particularly in electrophysiology and the exploration of the heart-brain intersection.
