Biography

Karen Angelicola is a Project Coordinator in the Office of Student Research, where she supports the coordination and execution of medical student research initiatives. Her responsibilities include managing the MD thesis process for graduating students and coordinating the START program, an early research immersion experience for incoming medical students. She also supports a range of operational activities to ensure the smooth delivery of student research efforts.

Karen has over eight years of experience in academic administration, including her previous role supporting the National Clinician Scholars Program. She is known for her ability to manage complex workflows, improve processes, and communicate effectively across students, faculty, and administrative teams.

Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Central Connecticut State University.
