Overview
Sandeep Arora, MBBS (a medical degree awarded outside the U.S.), is a radiologist who specializes in using imaging techniques to diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions. He works with patients to interpret images from ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI, helping provide clear assessments that guide treatment options.
As an associate professor of radiology and biomedical imaging at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Arora investigates ways to refine noninvasive imaging of the abdominal and pelvic areas. He focuses on improving diagnostic accuracy so that physicians can create more effective treatment plans.
Dr. Arora received his medical training at University College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India He then completed an internship in surgery at University of California, Davis Medical Center, followed by a residency in radiology at the University of Louisville and a fellowship in radiology and biomedical imaging at the University of California, San Francisco.
