Investigative Medicine Program Information Session

Are you a physician interested in advancing your career through rigorous research training while continuing your clinical development? The Investigative Medicine Program at Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers a unique opportunity for physician–scientists to earn a Ph.D. in Investigative Medicine.

Who Should Attend This session is designed for individuals with an interest in the program who:

• Hold an M.D. (or equivalent medical degree)

• Have completed at least one year of postgraduate clinical training

• Are eligible to practice medicine in the United States

• Currently have, or plan to secure, a residency or fellowship position at Yale School of Medicine with two years of guaranteed stipend support

Program Highlights

• Full-time commitment with 90% protected time for research

• Tailored for physician–scientists aiming to integrate clinical expertise with advanced research

• Option to apply concurrently with Yale residency or fellowship programs, with special arrangements for deferred acceptance into the Graduate School if needed

• Online application through the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
