The Investigative Medicine Program at Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers a unique opportunity for physician–scientists to earn a Ph.D. in Investigative Medicine.
Who Should Attend This session is designed for individuals with an interest in the program who:

Hold an M.D. (or equivalent medical degree)

Have completed at least one year of postgraduate clinical training

Are eligible to practice medicine in the United States

Currently have, or plan to secure, a residency or fellowship position at Yale School of Medicine with two years of guaranteed stipend support

Full-time commitment with 90% protected time for research

Tailored for physician–scientists aiming to integrate clinical expertise with advanced research

Option to apply concurrently with Yale residency or fellowship programs, with special arrangements for deferred acceptance into the Graduate School if needed
