Zifan Luo

Hi! My name is Zifan, though most of my friends call me Coco Luo. I am currently a Postgraduate Associate in the Cho Lab. I recently graduated from the University of California San Diego(UCSD),where I studied Cognitive Science with a specialization in Machine Learning & Neural Computation and Data Science.

My academic and research interests center on computational neuroscience and neuroinformatics. During my undergraduate training, I worked on intracranial ECoG and sEEG analysis, ripple detection, and multimodal physiological signal processing, where I developed reproducible data pipelines for large-scale neural datasets. I am passionate about integrating computational methods and data engineering approaches to better understand brain dynamics in both health and disease. I am particularly motivated by research with translational potential and hope to pursue graduate studies in a computational field in the future.
