Biography
Xingzhong Zhao is a biomedical researcher at Yale University whose work connects artificial intelligence, medical imaging, and genetics. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Fudan University, building on a background in computer science. His research explores how genetic variation shapes human anatomy and disease risk, with particular interests in brain aging and neurological disorders. He develops computational tools for large-scale genetic analysis, including TorchGWAS, and methods for extracting meaningful biological information from medical images. His work has appeared in Nature Communications, Nature Biomedical Engineering, and Genome Medicine.
