Assistant Professor of Medicine, Geriatric Medicine

Biography

Dr. Choksey is a board-certified geriatrician, who works primarily in the inpatient setting. She is currently the Medical Chair of the Yale New Haven Hospital Integrated Frailty Fracture Program, a multidisciplinary group that helps define and implement best practices in geriatric hip fracture care.

Dr. Choksey has a MBBS degree from Kasturba Medical College in India. She completed her residency at Duke/Southern Regional AHEC in 2019. She then moved to Boston for her clinical fellowship at the Harvard Multicampus Geriatric Medicine Program.

Apart from Geriatric and Hospital Medicine, Dr. Choksey has a keen interest in Global Medicine and has contributed to health education and medical research in Nairobi (Kenya), her hometown.
