Biography

Reema Panjwani, MD, is an Administrative Fellow in the Yale Department of Emergency Medicine, where her work focuses on emergency department operations, process improvement, patient flow, and the application of emerging technologies to improve care delivery. She is concurrently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Yale School of Management.

Prior to joining Yale, Dr. Panjwani completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the Jacobi and Montefiore Emergency Medicine Residency Program in the Bronx, New York, where she served as Chief Resident. During residency, she developed a particular interest in healthcare administration and operational innovation, including work examining the use of mobile technology to improve physician workflow and efficiency in the emergency department. Her academic interests include emergency department operations, quality improvement, healthcare management, and the implementation of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies in acute care.
