Biography
Milad Enferadi is a diagnostic medical physics resident at Yale Radiology. He holds degrees in Clinical Medical Sciences (Ph.D.), Medical Physics (Ph.D.), and Medical Radiation Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.), and completed a CAMPEP-accredited Certificate in Medical Physics at Harvard Medical School.
His research has focused on nuclear medicine. As a Ph.D. student, he investigated the radiosensitizing effects of ultrasmall gold nanoparticles (GNP-PEG-cRGDfK) using proton irradiation. He also successfully produced the Auger emitter Sb-119-Bleomycin for targeted radionuclide therapy during his master's program.
Before his residency, Milad was a research trainee for clinical radioembolization dosimetry at the Mayo Clinic in Florida. He later served as an associate research scientist and core personnel at the Yale PET Center, where he was involved in the production, synthesis, and quality analysis of radiopharmaceuticals for both preclinical and clinical studies.
His current work as a resident continues his commitment to advancing medical physics in clinical nuclear medicine.
