Biography

Mario Fahed, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Adjunct faculty at the Yale School of Medicine. He is board certified in Geriatric Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. He has completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale University and Psychiatry residency at SUNY Upstate. Dr. Fahed is an International Medical Graduate, hailing from Lebanon. He is a member of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism Honor Society. He is passionate about academic psychiatry with special interest in medical student education and currently serves as the psychiatry clerkship director at the UConn School of Medicine. His research interests include Technology in Mental Health, Medical education and Apathy.
