Lori Jensen, MD

Lori Jensen, MD, is an assistant professor of neurology at Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of headache disorders, including migraine, cluster headaches, trigeminal autonomic cephalagias, and facial pain. She is board certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University and completed her neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship training at Brown University.

Dr. Jensen recognized that headache disorders are "far more than a headache" and can affect concentration, memory, sleep, mood, work and family life, and day to day functioning. She takes time to understand each patient's symptoms and priorities and greatly enjoys hearing when her patients report back they are living a "happier more fulfilling life. "

She works with patients to identify factors contributing to their symptoms and then develops treatment plans that may incorporate preventive and acute medication, natural therapies, and procedural treatments for reducing headache burden. She has expertise in onabotulinumtoxinA injections for migraine, peripheral nerve blocks and trigger point injections.
