Biography

Lisa Brophy is a marketing and communications professional with over 25 years of experience connecting audiences to mission-driven programs across higher education, research, and healthcare. Known for building thoughtful, high-impact campaigns, Lisa specializes in brand development, stakeholder engagement, and creative strategy that drives visibility, participation, and long-term connection.

She currently serves as Associate Director of Marketing, Lifelong Learning and Travel for the Yale Alumni Association, where she leads marketing efforts for the Yale Alumni Academy, a global initiative that brings Yale’s faculty, scholarship, and research to alumni through online, on-campus, and travel learning experiences. In this role, Lisa shapes messaging and outreach strategies that support intellectual engagement, lifelong learning, and community-building among Yale’s worldwide alumni network.

Previously, Lisa held a senior project management in marketing and communications role at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI), where she directed marketing and recruitment strategies for clinical trials and managed large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Her efforts helped increase public awareness of Yale’s research mission and improve equity in research participation.

Earlier in her career, Lisa served as a marketing and brand manager at Queen’s University’s School of Business in Canada, where she led rebranding campaigns and executive education marketing that contributed to the school’s international recognition.
