Lisa Arnel

Lisa Arnel is senior administrative assistant and fellowship program coordinator for the Palliative Care team. Lisa came to Yale in 2007, supporting the Palliative Care program from its earliest days as a senior administrative assistant to the program's co-founders. She brought with her a diversity of skills developed during her prior work experiences, having previously served as manager of branch operations for major stockbrokerage firms in Houston and Atlanta. She subsequently took time away from work to raise her two sons. Since joining the Palliative Care team, Lisa has seen her role expand as the program has grown. Since 2014, she has been the program coordinator for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) fellowship and for the combined Geriatrics-HPM fellowship. She primarily supports Dr. Laura Morrison, director of the HPM Fellowship and director of Palliative Medicine Education. Outside of work, Lisa prefers time outside, enjoying hiking and swimming, and is an avid reader.
