Dr. Leonard H. Zamore, MD is a Clinician at Yale University in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He did his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale University and has been on the faculty since 1970. His main interests have been in resident teaching in advanced operative surgical technique including operative hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, bladder suspension and vaginal graft placement. He has given several courses in advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy both in the United States and abroad. He was appointed Clinical Director of the Ambulatory Women's Center at Yale and it is here that he does most of his advanced resident teaching. He has also given numerous lectures on hormonal replacement therapy and the menopausal patient throughout the United States and Canada. He has made several audio and video tapes on the advantages of hormonal replacement thereapy and the menopausal women. These tapes have been used extensively for resident teaching. Most recently he has been lecturing on the management and treatment of the herpes simplex virus and the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in the post menopausal women.
