Biography

Lam is a Ph.D candidate in the Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology department. He studied chemotaxis in Azosprillium brasilense at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville during his undergraduate years under Dr. Gladys Alexandre. Currently, he is in the Emonet Lab. Lam is interested in studying the spatial sorting of phenotypes during collective migration and the connection between virulence and chemotaxis.
