Kristine Drozd, NP has been a liver Nurse Practitioner at Yale New Haven Health/Yale Medicine for 12 years. She works outpatient non-transplant hepatology clinic with special focus in viral hepatitis, non-invasive liver fibrosis assessment, and medical weight loss for MASLD. Her career in hepatology has been primarily focused in Hepatitis B and C treatment and she has participated in many clinical trials for the current therapies. She has a strong clinical interest in the screening, treatment, and management of viral hepatology patients, particularly those in special at-risk populations. She enjoys the opportunity to learn and grow at work each day with the support of colleagues and peers. She is currently an active member of the AASLD Associate’s Committee, HBV SIG steering committee, and a mentor for the ELAAP program.
