Biography

Khalid Alshaibani, MBBS, is a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellow at Yale New Haven Hospital and a graduate of the Tufts Medical Center Psychiatry Residency, where he served as Chief Resident in Consultation-Liaison, Emergency, and Addiction Psychiatry. Originally from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he completed medical school at King Saud University before continuing his postgraduate training in the United States.

As an international medical graduate, Dr. Alshaibani brings a cross-cultural perspective to clinical care, approaching patients and teams with curiosity, humility, and sensitivity to structural inequities. His clinical interests include critical care psychiatry. He is committed to academic medicine and medical education, with ongoing involvement in resident and medical student teaching, curriculum development, and scholarly work focused on improving systems of care.
