Biography

Karen E. Brown, MD is an experienced Internist with a demonstrated skill in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), Healthcare Management. She is active in leadership in preventive health guidelines and EMR implementation at YNHHS and member of the Clinical Integration Steering Group. She became Medical director of primary care service line in Northeast Medical Group as of January 2020.

Previously, she worked at Whitney Internal Medicine, bringing eleven years’ experience caring for patients at YNHH Adult Primary Care Center, where she was named director in 2002. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital.
