Clinical Care
Overview
Kathryn Fletcher, MD, is a neonatologist who provides specialized care for newborns, including those born prematurely or with conditions that require advanced treatment. She focuses on helping infants with breathing, nutrition, and developmental support to give them the best possible start.
Dr. Fletcher uses a range of therapies to stabilize and strengthen fragile newborns, working with families to address each child’s unique needs. By collaborating with pediatric specialists, she aims to foster long-term health and growth for every baby in her care.
As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Fletcher is committed to advancing knowledge in neonatal care. She studies ways to enhance the well-being of babies with complex health concerns, including strategies to reduce complications and improve developmental outcomes.
Dr. Fletcher completed her medical training and residency in pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical School, followed by a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center (now Los Angeles General Medical Center).
