Biography

Katharine Barrett is an MD-PhD student interested in cancer immunology and chemical biology. Katharine completed her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College where she studied Biochemistry and Spanish Literature. As a Beckman Scholar at Bowdoin, her research focused on host-microbe interactions of the cancer-causing gut pathogen H. pylori. After graduating in 2023, she worked at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute studying molecular glue degraders in the lab of Dr. Benjamin Ebert, MD, PhD .
