Biography
Juliette Spelman received a bachelor of science in Chemistry from Yale University, graduating with honors, magna cum laude. She received her MD from NYU, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society, and completed both her residency and chief residency at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Dr Spelman currently serves as a firm chief of primary care for a large primary care clinic at the West Haven VA, where she works as a primary care clinician and teaches Yale medical students, Yale APRN students, and Yale residents.
Her academic work focuses on quality improvement in health care delivery to Veterans, with a focus on Veterans returning from the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
