Biography

I am a molecular and cellular biologist with a strong interest in how cells integrate biochemical and mechanical signals to shape tissue function and disease. After completing my M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of New Haven, I joined Yale School of Medicine as a Research Assistant, where I built expertise in viral vector preparation, immunoprecipitation, and in vivo mouse models. Working in collaborative teams, I investigated cellular signaling and mechanotransduction in vascular biology, deepening my appreciation for how disruptions in these processes drive diseases such as cancer and atherosclerosis. My long-term goal is to lead an independent research program that integrates cell biology with engineering and medicine to uncover therapeutic strategies for complex human diseases.
