Biography

Ibrahim Naoum, MD, is a Structural Heart Disease Fellow at Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital. His clinical interests include transcatheter aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve interventions, as well as complex coronary procedures.

His research interests include the pathology of in-stent restenosis and neoatherosclerosis, coronary microvascular dysfunction, and clinical outcomes following transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He is particularly interested in integrating cardiovascular imaging, coronary physiology, pathology, and clinical outcomes to improve procedural planning and patient care.
