Overview
Hope Walden, APRN, is a gynecologic oncology nurse practitioner who cares for people with cancers of the female reproductive system. She also has specialized training in menopause care and supports patients who are navigating symptoms related to hormonal changes.
Walden sees patients throughout their cancer journey, including before and after gynecologic cancer surgery. She helps manage symptoms such as pain, bleeding, and changes in sexual health, and works with patients who are experiencing hot flashes, sleep problems, or other menopause-related concerns. She focuses on providing clear information and practical guidance so patients can understand their options and feel more in control of their care.
In addition to her clinical work, Walden is a Menopause Society Certified Provider, reflecting advanced training in menopause and midlife health. She works closely with other clinicians at Yale School of Medicine to offer coordinated, team-based care for patients with complex needs.
Walden completed a fellowship in gynecologic surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she received focused training in the care of patients undergoing surgery for gynecologic cancers.
