Biography

David Song, PA-C, is a physician associate in pediatric dermatology at Yale. He cares for children through young adults with a wide range of conditions affecting the skin, hair, nails, and sweat glands. He is committed to making each visit feel welcoming and supportive for both kids and their families, with a focus on care that is clear, thoughtful, and easy to understand.

Having personally dealt with eczema and acne, he knows how much skin issues can affect a child’s confidence and daily life. That perspective shapes the way he practices: with empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to making families feel heard and cared for.

He earned his Master of Medical Science from the Yale School of Medicine, where he served as class co-president. During his training with Dr. Richard Antaya, he gained hands-on experience treating conditions such as eczema, acne, skin infections, hyperhidrosis, and vascular anomalies.

What he values most is building strong relationships with families and ensuring every child and young adult feels comfortable, understood, and confident in their care.
