Biography

Dr. Salomon is board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practices the full scope of the specialty, with interests including IV anesthesia, dental and zygomatic implants, complex facial reconstructive and orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial pathology and trauma, TMJ, and trigeminal nerve repair. Dr. Salomon received his doctorate of dental surgery at the University of Maryland, completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University of Illinois at Chicago, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Salomon is a Clinical Instructor of Surgery within the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department where he teaches and oversees residents both in clinical and didactic settings. Dr. Salomon has been involved in various research projects, presented at both local and national meetings, as well as authored and reviewed several peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Salomon has brought multiple new maxillofacial treatment options to the southern Connecticut area, including trigeminal nerve repair, facial bone reconstruction utilizing in-situ tissue engineering technology, and was the first surgeon to perform zygomatic implants in the Yale health system.
