Biography
Dante Gennaro Jr. is a seasoned public health professional, program director, and event strategist dedicated to advancing healthcare education and community well-being. Currently serving as the Program Director for the New England AIDS Education and Training Center at Yale University, he develops and implements training programs, manages outreach efforts, and produces educational content to strengthen healthcare capacity. With expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and multimedia content creation, he plays a key role in enhancing public health initiatives across the region.
With over a decade of experience in HIV prevention, health communications, and event coordination, Dante has led statewide initiatives, organized large-scale conferences, and spearheaded strategic health campaigns. As a former Health Communications Coordinator for the Connecticut Department of Public Health, he developed public-facing campaigns, managed digital media, and facilitated health education programs on critical topics such as HIV Prevention, COVID-19, and Mpox. His leadership extends to strategic planning, grant management, and capacity-building efforts, all aimed at reducing health disparities and improving access to care for vulnerable populations.
