Biography

Clarissa Myers spent the first three years of her career serving patients as a physical therapist focusing on providing holistic care as she navigated various illnesses, injuries and impairments with her patients. She completed her graduate studies at Emory University, earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Masters in Public Health. Earning these degrees simultaneously facilitated her unique perspective on health, wellness, physical activity and preventative care. Her professional goals include expanding upon her skills as a researcher in an effort to improve patient outcomes across their lifespan; specific areas of interest include noncommunicable disease management and prevention, gender equality, and education for women and girls.
