Biography

Aisha Farra is a predoctoral Psychology Fellow in the Yale Doctoral Internship in Clinical and Community Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. Aisha’s internship placement is in the Adult Community Mental Health engaging in outpatient work with a secondary placement at the Adult Inpatient Services.

Aisha is a graduate student in the counseling psychology doctoral program at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her clinical training has focused on serving marginalized communities, and her research has focused on examining how systems of oppression affect the health and vocational experiences of historically marginalized communities. Her research efforts have focused on supporting minoritized families/caregivers, addressing the systemic marginalization of women in the workplace, and advancing the physical and mental health of women.
