Sukhera Appointed Deputy Editor of 'Medical Education'

Javeed Sukhera, MD, PhD, associate clinical professor of psychiatry, has been appointed deputy editor of Medical Education, a top-tier journal in health professions education with a global readership and highly selective acceptance rate.

Medical Education is the leading international journal for research about health professional education. It publishes papers that are practically relevant and advance conceptual understanding of educational issues, reflecting perspectives from thought leaders in the field. It is an official publication of the Association for the Study of Medical Education.

Sukhera, associate chief academic officer at Hartford Healthcare and chair/chief of psychiatry at the Institute of Living at Hartford Hospital, said he looks forward to supporting faculty and learner development, and showcasing scholarship.
